Description
De minimis is a latin expression meaning ‘pertaining to minimal things’, in the context of grant applications, put simply de minimis means the amount of money you are entitled to as support before different regulations apply. The rules currently governing de minimis aid are set down in the Commission Regulation (EC) 1407/2013 of 19 December 2013. It implies that Member States must have a mechanism to track small aids given to undertakings. Typically, your company will be asked to complete a form stating any previous grant that you received within the past three running years, signed and dated.
